                                                                Official results announced at 9:45 PM, February 16th, 2012. 
                                                                Please note that the following results are official as of polls closing at 6:00 PM, February 16th. More information regarding disqualifications to follow. 

                                                                President: Jamie Arron - 58.3%, Sarah Bouchard - 41.7%. Jamie Arron disqualified. Sarah Bouchard declared the winner.
                                                                VP Academic-External: Aaron Beale - 61.2%, Richard Clark - 38.8%. Aaron Beale disqualified. Richard Clark declared the winner.
                                                                VP Internal: Aaron Wolf 37.8%, Becky Richter 34.5%, Alyssa Phillips 27.7%. On second ballot, Aaron Wolf 51%, Becky Richter 49%. Aaron Wolf declared the winner.
                                                                VP Student Life:  Alex Hallink - 33.3%, Andrew Sykes 18.5%, Gavin Jardine 39.6%, 8.6% spoiled. On second ballot, Alex Hallink 45%, Gavin Jardine 55%. Gavin Jardine declared the winner.
                                                                Senate: Navid Rahemtulla, 19.9%, Jonathan Magill 27.6%, Martin Miller 27.4%, Zainab Shataj 18.8%, 6.3% spoiled. Navid, Jonathan, Martin declared winners.
                                                                Board of Governors: Curtis Johnston, 81.7% yes, 8.9% no, 9.4% spoiled.

                                                                ANSSA: Yes - 50.9%, No - 44.6%, spoiled - 4.5%
                                                                DWC: Yes - 55.9%, No - 40.1%, spoiled - 4.1%
                                                                DUNS: Yes - 81.8%, No - 17.6%, spoiled - 0.6%
                                                                DASSS: Yes - 53.3%, No - 43.1%, spoiled - 3.6%
                                                                NSPIRG: Yes - 44.8%, No - 50%, spoiled - 5.2%

                                                                February 9, 2012: Sexton debate today at noon in the Alumni Lounge, A Building on Sexton Campus! Come on out to ask the candidates your burning questions! 
                                                                February 8, 2012: JD Hutton has withdrawn his candidacy for VP Internal. 
                                                                February 8, 2012: The first debate is today! Head down to the SUB lobby at noon to listen to all the candidates speak! 
                                                                February 6, 2012: Let the games begin! Campaigning is officially underway - check out "About the Candidates" and "About the Referenda" to learn more about who is running to represent you in 2012-13!  
                                                                February 1, 2012:  2012 Election Nominees Official List announced:

                                                                President: Jamie Arron, Sarah Bouchard
                                                                Vice President (Internal): Aaron Wolf, Alyssa Phillips, JD Hutton, Becky Richter
                                                                Vice President (Academic and External): Richard Clark, Aaron Beale
                                                                Vice President (Student Life): Alex Hallink, Gavin Jardine, Andrew Sykes
                                                                Senate Representatives: Jonathan Magill, Navid Rahemtulla, Martin Miller, Zainab Shahtaj
                                                                Board of Governors Representative: Curtis Johnson

                                                                In addition, there will be five referenda regarding the following organizations: the Alliance of Nova Scotia Student Associations (ANSSA), the Dalhousie Women's Centre (DWC), the Dalhousie Arts and Social Sciences Society (DASSS), the Dalhousie Undergraduate Nursing Society (DUNS) and the Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group (NSPIRG). Please check the referenda section on Monday for details about each question. 
                                                                January 28, 2012: The elections committee is pumped to announce we will be partnering with CKDU to bring you elections-related programming and recordings in the coming weeks.                                                                 January 15, 2012: Want to make a little extra cash before Reading Week? Apply to work as a Polling Clerk for the DSU Elections! Shifts available from 9-4:30 on all three campuses and you must be available on the afternoon of February 11th for a brief training session. Click here to download an application!
