PResident
- Chief Spokesperson for the Union
- Sits on Board of Governors and Senate, chief liaison for Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) and the Alliance of Nova Scotia Student Associations (ANSSA)
- Oversees day to day DSU activities
- Writes DSU policy and provides strategic direction
Vice President internal
- Chief Communications Officer
- Oversees all student societies
- Oversees all communication between the union and students, including the DSU website and handbook
- Organizes the annual leadership conference
- Chairs the Student Accessibility Fund, Residence Relations, Sexton Campus Advisory, Communications and Awareness, Grants, and Society Review Committees
Vice President Academic and external
- Advocates for and informs students about academic issues
- Sits on the University Senate
- Represents students through municipal, provincial, and federal lobbying organizations
- Responsible for Union's external and academic policies

- Organizes student spirit activities, including Orientation Week, DSU Charity Ball, Student Aprpeciation Night, DalFest, Winter Carnival, Residence Hockey Game, etc
- Promotes varsity athletics
- Chairs event committees
- Oversees Shinerama Director

- Sit on University Senate and represent students during Senate meetings
- Sit on the Academic and External Committee

- Sit on University Board of Governors and represent students during meetings
