What is your past experience with the DSU or with student life in general on campus?

For the year 2010-2011 I sat as a Member At Large on the DSU council. Last summer I sat as the engineering society rep on the DSU council. I have also sat on both the grants committee and the nominations committee. I was part of the orientation week committee this past year and led Cameron house in my 2nd and 3rd year.

What is your favourite place on campus and why?

I would have to say the Grawood- it’s a great place to meet with friends and collogues or hang out on the weekend. And every time you go you’re almost always guaranteed to run into someone you know.

Why are you running for the DSU?

I feel that I have the skill set necessary to represent the students at the Board of Governors. Besides, “some ones got to do it”.

What’s your best memory from your time at Dal?

Seeing the success of the most recent orientation week and the momentum that has carried throughout the year.

What would be your top three priorities if you got elected to this position?

1.To advocate for greater representation on Board of Governors committees.

                                                                2. Assure that quality of education is maintained with the upcoming budget cuts.

                                                                3. Oversee the university’s finances on a broad scale to ensure that students are not over burdened with high fees in the present and for the future.

                                                                 Is it Gray-wood or Grah-wood?

                                                                Gray-wood
